La Marina and surrounding areas

Their are four distinct comercial areas located on La Marina urbanisation:
  • The Grey area: A very popular location for local's and tourist's, contains a large range of bar's, cafe's and restaurant's, place's are open from early hour's in the morning to late hour's in the evening. Located on Calle Madrid.
  • Consum square: Consum is one of the three big supermarket's located on the URB. The square itself contains numerous bar's, cafe's, sport's bar's and restaurant's. ATM's are available in this area. Located on Calle Luis de Gongora.
  • Supervalu area: Supervalu is another major supermarket located on La Marina, it is close to the police station, doctor's-surgery and tourist information. Numerous bar's, cafe's and restaurant's as well as an ATM can also be found in this area. Located on Calle Amsterdam.
  • Dialprix supermarket: Dialprix is the final big supermarket located on the Urbanisation, a variety of cafe's, restaurant's and bar's as well as a late-night bar and numerous ATM's can be found in this area. Located on Plaza Sierra Castilla.
Their are three chemist's located on La Marina, one along Calle Amsterdam, one following Avenida Londres road north and the final one is located in the Dialprix area.
The local market's are held on Thursday and Sunday on Calle Justo Antonio Quesada and one is held Saturday on Calle Mar Cantabrico, from early hours in the morning to mid-day.
The beach is located roughly ten minutes away by car.
Although a lot of the area's on the URB are considered "walking distance", having access to a vehicle would be highly beneficial.
Services provided
  • Villa cleaning service:- Villa cleans can be tailored to meet your needs and could be anything from a one off clean up to and including holiday letting quick change over. Prices start from €30 for a standard two bedroom property but will vary depending on the service required, call or email for a competitive quote.
  • Property management:- If you live outside of Spain and let your property, you will need a reliable and trust worthy person to oversee your property. More than clean provide villa rental, key holding, meet and greet service and regular inspections of the property. Repairs or maintenance work can be arranged after consultation with the owner. A translation service can also be arranged in order to sort out problems with electric, water or SUMA bills. A charge is made for this service.
  • Car hire and airport transfers:- Car hire can be arranged with transfers including to Alicante airport, Murcia airport or Alicante train station can be arranged on request. The price starts from as little as €10 per day in low season if hired in resort. For a comprehensive list of prices please call or email.
  • Child safety equipment hire:- We can supply car seats, high chairs, travel cots and safety gates from €10 per week including delivery.
